You’re invited to the ultimate Latin Dance party in the beautiful Bella Abzug Park in Hudson Yards on September 14. Dance to the rhythmic sounds of salsa and bachata while enjoying the beautiful views of Hudson Yards, one block away from the Vessel!
We’ll hit it off with a Salsa class at 3 PM followed by Salsa and Bachata music from 4 PM to 7 PM with DJ Matatan!
Drink and food specials are available by Paradis in the Park

Somos Latin Dance is excited to host a FREE outdoor dance event in Bella Abzug Park, Hudson Yards, NYC. We look forward to returning in 2024.
Weekly vibrant sounds of salsa and bachata music and the rhythmic movements of dancers. This outdoor salsa event at Hudson Yards is filled with music, laughter, and the joy of dancing in the open air.
Food and Bar by Paradis in the Park.

Nancy Bocanegra, owner and founder of Somos Latin Dance, hosts and teaches some of the weekly classes at Pa La Calle NYC.
DJ Matatan, will be the head DJ for each week and will make sure you dance past sunset!

Yes! This park is also the home to our partners Paradis in the Park and they will be providing a food and drink menu. The Bar will have specialty drinks just for our event!

This event is free for all attendees. Just show up and dance.

The style of dance class will alternate every week between salsa and bachata. Starting June 21st, we’ll begin with Salsa.

The free class is adequate for dancers of all levels, beginners to experienced. Use it as a way to warm up for the evening! If you want to progress in your dancing, check out the Somos Latin Dance Schedule for class instruction.
